The Lord is a Sun, the source of Unlimited Power.
Creation is a symbolic representation of a real and personal God. It’s God’s poem. It is not that God is a tree, a flower, a hummingbird, or the Sun in itself – that would be pantheism. God is the Creator, the Artist. Creation is His work of art, a living poem. Some people confuse the creation with the Creator, and end up worshiping creation instead of worshiping the Creator. When the psalmist wrote, “The Lord is a Sun and a shield,” he was portraying God’s grandeur. The Creator’s supremacy and power is over everything.
Imagine if we were to buy all the energy that the Sun produces in 24 hours. We would have to cover the entire surface of the United States four miles deep with silver dollars. The amount of energy the Sun produces could last 30 billion years. Can you imagine this? It is such a powerful image! God is portrayed as the source of unlimited power.
On the path of discovery in Christ, you may be facing anxiety, pain, hurt, or fearfulness. Yes, this does happen to Christians. We may feel like we are living on the edge, but we do have the power to overcome every situation. When Paul wrote his letter to the Philippians, he said, “I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:12-13)
We all face different circumstances and trials. However, we can make it through depression, through Christ who strengthens us! You can and will make it through hurt, through Jesus who gives you strength! You will overcome financial need, infirmity, and every type of problem that you can think of. Jesus is your source of unlimited power! We can overcome the world because we have believed that Jesus is the Son of God. He will give us the strength we need and the power to be content in any and every situation. I encourage you to keep this thought in your mind and heart today. Meditate upon this and make it yours.

About this Plan
Just as the Earth revolves around the Sun, our lives are to revolve around The Son. He is our needed light and unlimited power. Choose to pursue Him above all else and you will grow in satisfaction in the Lord.
