This is true!

"Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord , that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon." (Isaiah 55:7 ESV)

"Alright, let's do it that way," I heard myself saying. This wasn't just about a casual appointment with friends; it was a decision that would greatly influence my life!

At first, it sounded simple and right, but as soon as I hung up the phone, the most important thing became clear to me. The question: "Did you seek God's guidance first? Is what looks so right and good also what He sees for you?"

God wants what's best for you. That's a fact.

And that's why you really have to believe it. I want to emphasize this because it's so, so important. God wants YOUR best! The simple explanation for this is: "Because He loves you! “ I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.”(Jeremiah 31:3 ESV)

So if this loving God were visibly by your side, you would surely glance to the side briefly and ask Him, "What do you think? Should I?"

God IS by your side. He is right now.

Even if you can't perceive Him as a visible figure, you can consciously remind yourself of how close He is to you by remembering it repeatedly.

Today, consciously go through the day with this knowledge that He is by your side. Involve Him in everything and ask Him at every opportunity, "What do YOU want me to do? How do YOU want me to react to this situation?"

Because what looks good and right to you may not necessarily be what He sees for you! Yes, while you see what would be good for you, God sees what is EVEN BETTER!
