There is a worship song called “What A Beautiful Name.” It goes like this:

“What a powerful name it is, the name of Jesus Christ my King. What a powerful name it is, nothing can stand against. What a powerful name it is, the name of Jesus.” *

This song is beautiful. It’s a song all about the name of Jesus and how powerful and beautiful that name is. Maybe you have a special name, one that’s very unique or special, but no name can compare to the name of Jesus Christ. The name ‘Jesus’ itself isn’t actually a special name on its own. The name ‘Christ’ means ‘the anointed one’, it sets Jesus apart as God’s son, the Saviour who takes away the sin of the world. It is a very special name. The name of Jesus is significant because of who it represents, it’s important because of what it means. His name is powerful!
