Because Jesus Changes Everything - everyone is welcomed to Jesus!

In today's BibleProject video we learned about how the good news of Jesus changes the way we should view our stuff. Because of the generosity of Christ towards us, our natural response should be radical generosity towards others. I like to call this: "Gospel Generosity". If we truly believe that we are changed by Jesus through his death and resurrection then how could we not live our lives with open hearts, open homes and maybe even open wallets?

I don't know about you, but I find this convicting. I tend to think that my stuff is mine. I worked hard to get it and I am not a big fan of sharing it (especially chocolate). Yet, when we reflect on the gospel of the Kingdom, when we take our conviction very seriously that Jesus changes everything, when we allow Jesus to change the way we view our time and money...I think Jesus does something in us...he changes the way we think about our stuff. It goes from mine, to his. I mean after all, is there a better person to trust with our time and money than the King of the Kingdom?
