Because Jesus Changes Everything - everyone is welcomed to Jesus!

Forgiveness is a big deal only if you understand the magnitude of your need for it.

The Pharisees thought they didn't need it.

The woman wasn't sure she could get it.

Jesus was no big deal to the Pharisees because they didn't think they needed Him or His forgiveness. Jesus, however, was the last hope for the woman of the city and she knew that she desperately needed Him.

Think about it this way: Jesus loved us before creation. Our love for Him begins as we acknowledge it is undeserved and unearned; it includes complete forgiveness from all our sins, as we have faith in the One who can grant it to us.
