Because Jesus Changes Everything - everyone is welcomed to Jesus!

Today we are going to read about: "Two Touching Miracles."

This scripture struck a cord with me, Twenty five years ago, our middle daughter became deathly ill with E- Coli. The days ahead in the ICU were very bleak and the doctors did not give us any hope; they said, "Prepare your family." The ruler of the synagogue, Jairus, must have felt very much the same as he left his home and his critically-ill daughter to seek Jesus, asking HIM to come to his home and heal his daughter.

GOD’S TIMING!

As we read the story of JESUS'S healing power, we need to reflect on GOD’S timing. We need to understand that JESUS has time for each and every one of us, and we have to have FAITH and trust in our LORD. As humans, we believe everything is in our timing and every situation needs to be handled immediately.

The woman with the issue of bleeding felt she would be healed if she just could touch the cloak of JESUS's garment. Was that her faith? I believe it was! But the crowd was pushing and pressing against JESUS. He asked, "Who touched me?" Peter said, "Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you." Peter did not realize that JESUS knows everything: from just a brush of HIS garment to the embracing of LOVE. Most of all, JESUS puts no limit on how HE heals, no limit on His power to solve a problem. He says, essentially, "There is no situation too great or too small for my LOVE to shine and heal; just have FAITH; I am by your side."

Someone from the house of Jairus, arrived, informing him that his daughter had died. It is quite a profound statement! Jesus said, to Jairus, "Don’t be afraid; just believe and she will be healed." How many of us in our lives have had to trust GOD in that way? May we realize the power of FAITH in our LORD JESUS CHRIST?

Both the woman in the crowd and Jairius's daughter were healed. What I believe Jesus is saying is "No matter where or at what time, I am always with you, so just have FAITH in me."

What an amazing GOD who can LOVE us in so many ways, holding us in the palm of HIS hand. Trust in the LORD: in His timing, in His healing, and in His Love. What an awesome SAVIOUR! No one is too far gone; everyone is invited! - Brad Schnoor
