Salvation Song
Revelation 7:9-12
“I looked and there before me was a giant multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb…they cried out in a loud voice, ‘Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.’
All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying ‘Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God forever and ever. Amen!’ ”
The salvation song that was new in Revelation 7:10 has now been sung by people of every tribe, nation, and language as they receive God’s gift of forgiveness and new life in Jesus, the Lamb of God. The elders who first sang this salvation song in the presence of God before the throne now declare “Amen”. The song has gone around the world through the ages and come back to the throne. The salvation story is complete and God Almighty receives the glory.
Will we too intercede, and share this song with those who have yet to sing it?
Lord Jesus, you are my Lamb and living sacrifice. I offer you my life to your kingdom mission that all might know this salvation song.
