Listening To The Word - 1 YearSample
I Am Coming Soon
Revelation 22:12
“Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.”
The urgency of living lives that matter for eternity is underlined by Christ’s words that he is coming soon. He is returning to reward his servants and settle his accounts. The rewards and punishments that Jesus will hand out are based on what we do – not what we believe. Our actions more than our words testify to our true motives and values. The accountability of knowing that our actions and lives will be evaluated and either judged or rewarded, must change how we live. Knowing God’s ways and priorities becomes essential.
Have I lived for Christ’s priorities this past year?
What changes will I make to live for Christ’s kingdom priorities this New Year?
Lord Jesus, you are my King and I choose to live this year for your kingdom priorities of love, forgiveness, justice and the gospel, for your glory.
