Luke 11:1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.

Here we find Jesus' disciples asking Him how to pray. Even today, many Christians struggle with their prayer life and often don’t know where to start or exactly what to say. When we pray, we are invited to follow Jesus' example rather than reciting a memorized script. We see a slightly different version of this prayer (commonly known as the "Lord's Prayer") in Matthew chapter 6. The key takeaway is that God wants you to speak with Him honestly and openly. Treat your conversation with Him as you would with your best friend. After all, He created you and knows you intimately, and He’ll always be there for you. Praise God that we can boldly come to His throne of grace through prayer!
