Luke 13:5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Jesus reminds those around Him of the crucial importance of repentance. We live in a time characterized by "easy belief," where the call to repentance is often overlooked in many sermons today. However, the truth remains that God desires not only our acknowledgment of Him but also a genuine turning away from our old, sinful ways.

God invites us to come as we are - broken, imperfect, and in need of His grace. Yet, He does not intend for us to stay as we are. The Bible assures us that if anyone is "in Christ," old things have passed away, and all things have become new. This transformation is more than mere words; it signifies a deep, heartfelt change that comes from within.

Salvation is indeed a gift of grace, but it also invites us into a new life - a life marked by change and renewal. As we reflect on these truths, let us examine our hearts. Are we truly repenting and embracing the new identity we have in Christ? May we seek to align our lives with His will, trusting in His power to transform us from the inside out!
