Eternal Family

If you have put your faith in Jesus Christ for eternal salvation from sin, then you have not only been brought into right relationship with God and permanently adopted by Him as His child forever, a joint heir with Jesus Christ Himself, but you have also been given a family made up of every person who has ever done the same. In Christ, they are your brothers and sisters, and in many ways, your relationship with them has the potential to be even more intimate than the relationship you may have with flesh and blood siblings, as you share the same Holy Spirit, mission, purpose, and future in Heaven.

Even if you have never felt a sense of belonging before, you have every reason to feel one now. You are a member of the ultimate royal family with all of the rights, privileges, and responsibilities that come with that role, a member of a royal priesthood set aside to bring your Heavenly Father glory.

How might your sharing the same Holy Spirit who lives in the hearts of your brothers and sisters in Christ enable you to form meaningful, lasting relationships with them?
