Kingdoms of the EarthÀpẹrẹ
The Golden Head and the Eagle-Winged Lion
The head of the statue was made of pure gold and the first animal Daniel saw looked like a lion and had eagle wings. He said that Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, was the golden head of the statue, but that after him would come other kingdoms. The similarities between the dream and the visions suggest that they may deal with the same kingdoms.
Babylon was a great kingdom. Daniel and his friends were part of his administration, which did not prevent them from being condemned to the furnace and the lion's den, but in both cases, God delivered them from death, and his name was exalted.

He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings." In this plan, we will study kingdoms of the past and future revealed in the Bible.
