Israel

After the liberation from Egypt, Israel settled in Canaan. They were a nation unlike any other because God was their king. But they wanted a human king. God granted their request, but this determined their fall, as they turned away from God. After Solomon's reign, Israel was divided: the North was conquered by the Assyrians, and the South by the Babylonians. Despite this, God did not abandon them. In Babylon he gave a dream to Nebuchadnezzar, of a statue made of different materials and two visions to Daniel with different animals, later John also had a vision of two beasts. These symbols represented kingdoms that would come upon the earth. In the next studies, we will talk about each of them.

He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings." In this plan, we will study kingdoms of the past and future revealed in the Bible.
