God's Redemption Story (Genesis)Àpẹrẹ
Jacob spent the first half of his life working very hard to get his way, and most of the time, he lived up to the name Jacob, which means usurper. But he wrestled with God physically and emotionally wrestled with the role he would let God have in his life. He may have limped away when he finally surrendered to God’s control, but God showered him with those promised blessings. To prove his fight was over, he built an altar in his new hometown and declared God to be his God.
Are you wrestling with God, and how much control do you want to give him? That’s okay. Full surrender can be very hard work, but God is prepared to bless you abundantly.
