GOD REWARDS FAITHFULNESS

God rewards faithfulness and consistency, whether in ministry or business. Too many people are inconsistent and unfaithful. If you start a school, set a standard of excellence from day one. God always teams up with standards. When there is no standard, you have a situation that equals “every devil minus God”.

The Master is looking for interest on every resource He has given you. God starts measuring your faithfulness when you double what He gives you. Many Christians want wealth, but they do not have the attitude that sustains wealth. God does not reward unfaithfulness; He only rewards faithfulness. Luke 16:2 says, “And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.” This is a disastrous situation where the master of a steward called him for accountability, and he was about to lose his stewardship.

You will find yourself also before the Master one day to give an account of your stewardship. What type of account will you give? Will you be referred to as a faithful or wasteful servant? 1 Corinthians 4:2 says, “Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.”

PRAYER: LORD, help me to be a faithful servant in Jesus’ name. Amen!
