The foreigner who became a part of the people of Israel

Throughout the Old Testament God reveals himself through his people Israel. Israel was called to be a different people, to be a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. Ruth was a Moabite but became a part of the Israelites because of her mother-in-law Naomi. And she didn’t just became a part of the nation, she became the great-grandmother of king David and thus a part of Jesus’ own lineage.
