Judah

Hezekiah is followed by a series of kings, some good and some bad. In this chapter, Judah is ruled by three evil kings. Even while suffering defeat after defeat, they do not return to God. Judah’s treasures are carried off to Babylon just as predicted to Hezekiah back in Isaiah.

God has done many things to get his people’s attention: he has tried kindness, provision, miracles, then he sent prophets and now hardship. Nothing has worked. How stubborn are these people? How stubborn are we?
