Why honour people who boast of their wealth? Their pride shows that they lack understanding of God's grace in their life. More, we must not follow their example when we are blessed with good things from God. The bible warns us of their abysmal existence in this life and after.
Prayer: Lord, help me not to admire and envy wealthy, famous or powerful people. I will seek my true riches in Christ alone. Thank you that I am not made to function on the primal level of existence but to have a higher spiritual purpose that connects me with You, my Lord and my Savior. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
