NDIYANAZISA, bazalwana! ivangeli endayishumayelayo kuni, — kwa leyo enayamkelayo, nenimiyo kuyo, nenisindiswa ngayo, — ngesanina isiteto endayishumayelayo kuni, ukuba niyayibamba, ukuba kanti anifumane nakolwa. Ngokuba ndandinikela kuni ukuqala, oko endati kanjalo ndakwamkela, ukuba u‐Kristu wafela izono zetu, njengokweziba̔lo; nokuba wancw̔atywa, nokuba uvukile ngomhla wesitatu, njengokweziba̔lo; nokuba wabonakala ku‐Kefasi, wandula wabonakala kwabalishumi linababini: wati kamva wabonakala kwabazalwana abapezulu kwabangamakulu mahlanu ngexesha linye, abati into eninzi yabo bahlale kude kube kaloku nje, kodwa inxenye balele kukufa. Wati kamva wabonakala ku‐Yakobi; wandula wabonakala kubapostile bonke. Waza wati emveni kwabo bonke, njengakulowo uzelweyo lingekabiko ixesha, wabonakala nakum. Ngokuba mna ndingomncinane kubo bonke abapostile, ondingafanelekile ukuba ndibizwe ngompostile, ngenxa yokuba ndayitshutshisa iṙemente KATIXO. Kodwa ngofefe LUKATIXO ndikoko endikuko: nofefe lwake olwenzelwa mna alwaba yinto engendawo; koko ndagqitisayo kubo bonke ngokusebenza kakulu; ndingendim kodwa, lufefe LUKATIXO olube lukunye nam. Nokuba ngoko ndim, nokuba ngabo bona, kunjalo ukushumayela kwetu, bekunjalo nokukolwa kwenu.
Kekaloku ukuba u‐Kristu uyashunyayelwa ukuba uvukile kwabafileyo, bati nina inxenye pakati kwenu ukuti akuko kuvuka kwabafileyo? Kodwa ukuba akuko kuvuka kwabafileyo, u‐Kristu naye akavukanga ke: nokuba u‐Kristu akavukanga, kukona iyinto engendawo intshumayelo yetu, iyinto engendawo nenkolo yenu. Ewe kanjalo siyafunyanwa singamanqi̔na abuxoki KATIXO; kuba sasinqi̔nile ngaye UTIXO ukuba wamvusa u‐Kristu; ote akamvusa, ukuba kambe abafileyo abavuki. Ngokuba abafileyo ukuba abavuki, u‐Kristu naye akavukanga ke: nokuba u‐Kristu akavukanga, yinto engendawo inkolo yenu; nisesezonweni zenu. Kukona nabo balala kukufa ku‐Kristu batshabalala. Ukuba sinokutemba ku‐Kristu kokukudliwa kwobomi kupela, singabakedamelekayo ngapezu kwabantu bonke.
Kodwa kaloku u‐Kristu uvukile kwabafileyo, waba sisandulelo sabo balele kukufa. Ngokuba ekubeni ukufa kwezayo ngaye umntu, kweza ngaye umntu nokuvuka kwabafileyo. Ngokuba njengokuba ku‐Adame bonke bafayo, kwa njalo ku‐Kristu bonke baya kudliswa ubomi. Kodwa omnye nomnye ngokwake ukucwangciswa: u‐Kristu esisandulelo; kamva abaka‐Kristu, ekufikeni kwake. Kwandul’ ukubako isipelo, okuya abunikeleyo ubukumkani kuye UTIXO noyise, okuya atshabalalisile bonke ubupati nalo lonke igunya namandla. Ngokuba efanele ukupata ubukumkani, ade azibeke zonke intshaba zake ngapantsi kwenyawo zake. Utshaba lwokugqibela olutshatyalaliswayo kukufa. Ngokuba kusitwa: Uzibekile pantsi zonke izinto ngapantsi kwenyawo zake. Kodwa okuya atshoyo ukuti zonke izinto zibekiwe pantsi, kusekuhleni ukuba kungapandle kwalowo owabeka pantsi zonke izinto kuye. Kanjalo okuya zonke izinto zibekiwe pantsi kuye, uya kwandula NONYANA ngokwake abekwe pantsi kulowo owabeka pantsi zonke izinto kwa kuye, ukuze UTIXO abe zinto zonke kubo bonke.
Okanye baya kwenza nto nina abo babapitizeshelwa abafileyo? Ukuba abafileyo abavuki nakanye, yinina ke ukuba bayabapitizeshelwa abafileyo? Yinina ukuba nati sisemgcipekweni amaxeshana onke? Ngenyaniso, luqa̔yiso endinalo pezu kwenu kuye u‐Kristu Yesu INKOSI yetu, nditi imihla ngemihla ndife! Ukuba ndati njengokwabantu ndalwa namar̔amncwa e‐Efese, kundinceda nto nina oko? Ukuba abafileyo abavuki, Masitye sisele, ngokuba sisiti ngomso sife.
