When you choose to follow Jesus, it's like your whole world gets flipped upside down in the best way. The "old you"—your fears and unhelpful habits—can be gone. And now, Jesus’ presence lives inside of you, empowering you to live a new kind of life. That means every new experience you have is a chance to let Jesus change you a little bit more. It means that in all the changes you experience, you are never alone! You can trust that God wants to use these changes and new seasons in your life to shape you into someone who reflects God’s love and character. What better change is there than that?

This week, think about some ways your life has changed for the better already because of Jesus. If you’re not sure where to start or not sure about this whole faith thing, that’s okay! Talk to a trusted friend or Small Group Leader about what that might mean for your life. Let them share how they’ve seen Jesus change their life to give you an idea of what this can mean for you, too.
