Do you ever feel like nothing is going the way you want it to? No matter what you do, everything just falls apart. Maybe you even feel like you’re the only one facing challenges that feel too big to overcome. In the Bible, Paul felt the same way when he wrote this letter to the Corinthians. He was experiencing persecution and abuse everywhere he went, even though he was just trying to tell people about Jesus! It would have been so easy for Paul to give up. And yet, he did not lose heart. Because he had God on his side, Paul had the strength to keep going. And we can have the same thing! No matter what comes our way, God will renew us every day. God is literally breathing new life into us so that we can keep going.

When you’re feeling weary or discouraged because of your circumstances, don’t lose heart! Keep on going with confidence because you know that you are being renewed by God, day by day.
