Making personal changes can be scary. Why? Because it often means stepping out of our comfort zone. We worry about failing, being left out, or being embarrassed by the fact that others may notice how we’ve changed. But Jesus promises that when He sets us free—when He guides us toward change—we can experience true, lasting freedom on the other side. That means we don’t have to be stopped by fear, insecurity, or even just a desire to stay in our comfort zones and keep things the way they are. Instead, we can embrace the new that Jesus guides us to, knowing that He is walking us toward more freedom every step of the way.
What changes do you feel led to make in your life right now? Reach out to a friend or someone in your Small Group about what you’re trying to do to get out of your comfort zone and ask them to encourage you to keep going when you need the support.
