DAY 6 OF 8

FAITHFUL IN WHAT IS LEAST

He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. (Luke 16:10)

This passage in Luke 16 is speaking of money. We cannot deny that money is important in our lives.

If we are faithful with our money (a small matter), then we will be entrusted with more important things—real wealth (Luke 16:11). This real treasure speaks of eternal, Heavenly riches.

If we are unfaithful with money, how can we be entrusted to be faithful about Heavenly property? Judas, for example, only for thirty pieces of silver, betrayed the Lord Jesus.

There is a test to know the level of our loyalty about money. When we are blessed, will we restore God's part—the tithe? Will we use it faithfully and favourably? We are responsible for the financial blessings given to us by God.

The Lord Jesus says we cannot serve two masters—God and money (Luke 16:13). God must be the main thing in our lives, not money.

When the Spirit of God leads our lives, our lives will be changed.
