DAY 7 OF 7

THE POWER OF THE RESSURECTION OF CHRIST

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. (Matthew 28:18 NIV)

Every one of us has felt fearful and anxious causing us to be stressful when facing a certain situation. If we measure the level of our fear, anxiety, and stress and then compare it to what Jesus experienced in the Garden of Getshemane, what Jesus felt could not be compare with any fear in this world.

Jesus went through the most terrifying process in this world, starting from being captured and brought on trial, tortured, and then crucified in Golgotha. He died for our sin, He was chastised in replacement of us who deserved the punishment. When He was about to be tortured and crucified, Jesus could have mobilised angels to free Him. Nevertheless, He did not do that because of His great love to mankind, to us as believers, and that has made Him choose to focus on His mission which was the salvation of mankind from the punishment of sin.

He died for us, but He also rose again for us through the power of the Holy Spirit. On the third day, the power of the Spirit of God resurrected Jesus from the dead. Death has been defeated and the resurrection of Christ is a proof of His victory over punishment. His resurrection is also a sign that He owns the power on earth and in heavens.

Now the power of the resurrection of Christ is available for believers, the power is limitless, able to help us and raise us. The power has never changed yesterday, today and till forever.

The power of the resurrection of Christ is available for believers, the power is limitless, able to help us and raise us.
