Book of Deuteronomy

DAY 11 OF 11

WALK WITH GOD

Exodus 33:15 (NKJV) "Then he (Moses) said to Him, "If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here."

Moses was a prophet used by God to perform great miracles among the people of Israel. Moses kept reminding the people that God had to be with them. The most important thing for the people of Israel was that they must be faithful to God.

Moses was not allowed to cross the Jordan. Because of this, he encouraged the people of Israel to walk with God. Indeed, in front of them there would be foreign nations that might confront and attack them.

Whatever comes before us, may we confront a challenge or face a problem rather than having worry and fear. Moses' advice to Israel is good advice for us. Do not be afraid or worry; God walks with us. God's help is always available for the believer who waits for Him.

Joshua and the people of Israel were strengthened by Moses. It is good for us, as believers, to have brothers and sisters in the faith who strengthen us. We can find them in prayer groups, in cell groups or our church. We need brothers and sisters who strengthen us with encouragement and prayer.

On the contrary, if the people of Israel turned away from God's commands and did evil in His sight, then God’s inclusion would be lifted from them. Why? Because God hid His face from them.

Living in God's direction means we live in truth, for God only walks with those who agree with His ways.

We are walking in the right direction if we walk with God.
