What Was I Made For?Sample
Have you ever tried copying someone else’s handwriting? It feels strange trying to write exactly the same way someone else does. Even if you get close, it just doesn’t quite fit. Not to mention, it doesn’t ever wind up looking like the original. At the end of the day, it’s not authentic! The same is true for the way we approach the world. When we copy the ways of the world, it limits us. It’s not who God created us to be. But when we allow God to help make us into the best version of ourselves—the one God designed us to be—we can begin to fulfill God’s good and perfect plan for us. We can know what we’re made for when we look to God for the answer.
Try writing this verse in someone else’s handwriting today. Copy the style of a friend, a parent, or a sibling. Then, write it in your own handwriting! Look at them side by side to remind you to be confident that God is making you into the best version of yourself—the one you were uniquely made to be.
