What Was I Made For?Sample
Have you ever seen a picture of a snack that looked so good that you just had to try it? Or a movie trailer at the theater that was so cool that you just had to return to see the film? Sometimes, what we see on the outside causes us to make judgments about what might be on the inside, right? Well, the same is true for the way people often see each other. We want to make quick judgments on what we see or think we know about someone else. But God has called us to live differently. God reminds us not only to see beyond the surface of others but also that God sees beyond the surface with us. When outward opinions try to tell us what we’re made for, we can remember that God sees our hearts. That’s what matters!
Draw a heart or write this verse down on a piece of paper. Every time you come across it, remember that no matter what other people see or what judgments they may make, God sees your heart.
