Kemp ## A Prayer Gracious God, Who strengthens all those who are persecuted, give this tenacity and boldness to your ministers today, so that after being tested, they will be able to get up and move on. Your chosen leaders experience persecution in so many different ways. Strengthen and encourage them for the task at hand. May the vision of your work always be before them. For those who are weary, raise up co-workers so that leadership may be found for each new fellowship formed in the advancement of the gospel. This we pray. Amen. ## Journal Exercise Identify one hindrance to the progress of the gospel, or growth of the church, and write a prayer asking for its removal. Identify three people who preach the word of God. Write a prayer asking that they will have the opportunity to speak of Christ, boldness to speak the truth and grace to display love. Pray that God will create faithful Christian fellowships, congregations and churches living out and proclaiming God's word 'in all the world. ## A Challenging Prayer Pray that God's people will be in submission to the Lord Jesus Christ and his command to make disciples of all nations by enabling local churches to expand numerically, and equipping and nurturing their members.
