# The Progress of the Resurrection Command ## A Prayer God of all time, We praise you with great joy that everything happens as you have said and promised. You are a God of awesome detail to plan salvation through so many thousands of years and people. We stand today as heirs of all your words fulfilled in your one and only Son, Jesus. We, too, want to continue to see your Spirit clothe your people with power from on high. May repentance and forgiveness of sins be preached in Jesus' name. Give us eyes to see and ears to hear your global calling. We praise you with joy and reverence. Amen. ## Journal Exercise Jesus chose 12 disciples (learners) to be apostles (sent ones). He gave them power to preach first to Israel then to all nations. The God-given signs and wonders confirmed the disciples' witness. As we continue in God's Mission we convey the apostles' message. This is why Christians read, mark and learn their Bible. Work out a program for your Bible reading, study and learning. Write a prayer asking God to help you fulfil your program so you can be better equipped to participate in the Mission. Pray that God will create faithful Christian fellowships, congregations and churches obediently living out and proclaiming God's word in all the world! This week consider our globe: * On a global level pray for the superpowers, economies, legal systems, education and health systems, and marketplace businesses. * Pray that God will be heard at all these levels, and people will be challenged as to our use or abuse of all that he has given us. * Pray for his kingdom to come and his will to be done in all the earth. ## A Challenging Prayer Pray that God's people will multiply faithful, obedient, Christian fellowships, congregations and churches witnessing to the truth and power of God's Word in our villages, towns and cities, and in all the world!
