Go: Your Action Plan To Change The World

DAY 7 OF 32

"Get Going!"

READY

Walking with Jesus every day must have been the most exciting years of the early disciples' life. Imagine, the Son of God Himself was walking right beside them, eating with them, performing miracles, and teaching many amazing things. That's why it's understandable that they would be standing around when He ascended to Heaven and left them. They needed an angel to remind them that He would be coming back soon. In the meantime, it was time for them to get to work.

Sometimes we have the same problem. Maybe we had a very memorable spiritual experience and we end up talking more about the past than looking to the future. Maybe there was a very strong leader we looked up to who isn't around anymore for whatever reason. And now we're afraid to move on our own.

Whatever the situation is, the angel's message applies to us. Stop looking at the past. God is with you. It's time to go. It's time to make disciples. It's time to change the world.

SET

What events or moments have had the most impact on your Christian walk? How can you use this experience to motivate you even more to reach out to students?

GO

Make a short list of the moments or experiences where you had a life-changing God-encounter. Talk to your campus missionary or leader to help you process what you have experienced and learned. After that, ask God to give you direction on how to apply what you have learned in your campus.

About this Plan

Go: Your Action Plan To Change The World

Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He commissioned the disciples to GO and make disciples of all nations. This 31-day devotional chronicles how a number of unschooled, ordinary men heeded that command, preaching a message that changed hundreds and then thousand and then generations. This comprehensive study on Acts aims to empower student believers to boldly preach the gospel with the goal to change the world one campus at a time.
