In Genesis 3 we see Satan tempted Eve to take the fruit. He did not put the fruit in her hand and he certainly did not put the fruit into her mouth. All Satan did was tell Eve lies and she became a believer of those lies. Then Eve saw the fruit with her eyes, took it with her hands and ate it. Then she became Adam’s tempter. What lies are you listening to today? Maybe they are about your marriage.
Maybe Satan is tempting you to believe that God cannot fix your problems. Turn away from the lies. As we see in Genesis 3:16-19, there were steep consequences for rejecting God's commands. Stay on the path of truth, shut out the noise of this world and walk with the King.
