Titus 2 says the older women are to teach the younger women to love their husbands. Does this seem like a strange command to you? I mean, can't we assume that you married a man you love? If we are not careful and we do not guard our hearts in the midst of the hustle and bustle of daily life and the trials that come our way, we can find our love for our husbands dwindling. Over the years a wedge can grow between a husband and wife if they are not continually loving, forgiving and offering grace for each others short comings.

Older women, we NEED you. Please live out the example of being a loving wife. Please help the next generation learn how to love unconditionally. Younger women, seek out an older woman as a role model. Many of my mentors early on in marriage came in the form of authors of my favorite books. If you need help, pray and ask God to bring you someone or something that will guide you through this season of life.
