In the verses leading up to our passage for today, we read that it is not good for us to live life alone. God first makes this clear way back in the book of Genesis – He designed us for relationships! These beautiful verses remind us that doing life side by side in woven companionship provides much more productivity, security, and enjoyment in life. There is more strength and satisfaction in numbers, and we should be on guard against living in a way that leads only to self-sufficiency and isolation. The best way to ensure this? Look around you, and pray that God would help you to reach out and be a friend to someone today!
