Shine Like Stars: Devotions From Time of GraceSample
A Witness That Shines: God's stars always seek to make Jesus look good
You've said it a hundred times--a thousand times: "Hallowed be your name." Let's encourage one another to mean it. The ultimate light shining from Jesus' all-star team, the most joyful reason to have your name inlaid in the heavenly 'walk of fame', is not only to believe in Jesus Christ yourself but to share the message so clearly and warmly that another lost soul, precious to the Savior, comes to faith as well.
God doesn't expect everybody to be able to preach like Peter or pray like Paul. But he does expect you to use the gifts that you have been given and make use of the opportunities he sends. "Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect" (1 Peter 3:15).
Sharing your faith doesn't mean long and clever arguments, loads of 'proof' passages, or following some complicated methodology. Just listen to people's stories and resonate with their fears and pain. Just tell the stories of what Jesus did for the world. Just tell the stories of what Jesus has done for you. Just say, "Come with me. There's room for you in the House. You'll like it here. Jesus is the best!"

About this Plan
We are Christians because God chose us; decided to love us in spite of our sin; and sent Jesus to live, die, and rise again for our forgiveness. Belonging to God means changing our sinful ways. This reading plan will help you make those changes in your behavior and life so that you shine like stars.
