God’s People

Everyone who is part of God’s family has a home. We share allegiance to his kingdom above all others. God says we belong to him no matter what country we come from or where we lay our heads at night. There is no ruler or authority on this earth who can remove us from God’s care. We belong with him, and he is worthy of our devotion. We can have unity through Christ that is unshakeable, even though the world is full of division, chaos, and broken systems. His kingdom is our true home, and we are linked together by his mercy and grace.

Your country of origin, ethnicity, social status, and wealth have nothing to do with your eligibility to be welcomed into God’s kingdom. You can find a sense of belonging in God’s presence even if you’ve never had a stable home. He declares that you are fully known and fully loved. He doesn’t call you based on your circumstances. He calls you his own because you are his beloved child.

Your identity is cemented in who you are as God’s precious child, no matter what shaped it in the past. You may have been given various labels over the span of your life, but the only one that matters now is that you belong to Christ. You have been chosen, pursued, and marked by the all-encompassing love of your Father. He offers you a sense of security that cannot come from any earthly relationship. He invites you to rest, knowing that you are desired, provided for, and safe.

Through Christ, you have a family and a home that goes beyond physical connections. Your inheritance is secure, and it cannot be taken away from you. When you feel like you don’t belong, remember that God is your anchor. When you feel alone or insecure, cling to his love for you. It will never fade, change, or let you down.

No matter how you feel today, you are not forgotten. You are not lost, overlooked, or unwanted. Find your identity in him and let your steps be deliberate and strong. Move forward as a child who is fully aware of who they are. Lift your chin and let your confidence flow from the position, power, and goodness of your heavenly Father.
