Pray for JapanSample

One day all the different cultures and nations will come before God. They will honor Jesus and praise him. Imagine seeing all the tribes and peoples in front of the throne. There you will stand—together with the multitudes of people!

During our travels from the south to the north of Japan making these prayerfilms we met many interesting people. I want to mention one lady whom we met in a church in Okinawa, the southernmost part of Japan. She wanted to show me how people in Okinawa used their tribal instruments and rhythms in praising Jesus. She said “the music and instruments have been redeemed.” Before that, these instruments were used for worshipping idols and evil spirits. But now the instruments have been redeemed and are used for God's glory. It was so beautiful to see how they used their own unique culture to worship Jesus. We will all stand before God's throne, with our different cultures and languages, and will honor the only true God. Let us look forward to that.

Let us pray that the traditions in all cultures and peoples will be redeemed and used to praise God in their own unique way. Let us especially pray for Japan as we watch this next film clip.
