Memorizing Your BibleSample

Memorizing Your Bible

DAY 5 OF 7

Start today by reading Psalm 1:1-4 again. As you do this, you might start to notice patterns

and connections—this will help with memorization.

Also, read Psalm 119:93 today. David was dedicated to memorizing Scripture. He had such a deep love for God and His Word that he didn’t want to forget His commands! (And he didn’t even have a phone!)

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

Today's verse, along with tomorrow’s, gives us a sobering reminder of the terrible future awaiting those who remain in wickedness and do not turn to the Lord Jesus. They will not be able to stand when they face God. It’s not an easy verse, but we must not ignore it. A verse like this should stir us to pray for lost souls and to share the Gospel.

The verse for today is:

Psalm 1:4 – “Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away.”

CHALLENGE OF THE DAY

And once again, we follow the same method:

● First, recite verses 1 to 3 once.

● Now, read verse 4 out loud 10 times while following along carefully.

● Then, say this fourth verse 10 times without looking.

And don’t forget to write down today’s verse as well.

Tip:

Use hand gestures while reciting! This engages your memory in a new way. If you use the same gestures every time, your brain will store the information more easily. Maybe try standing in front of a mirror today!

Keep going! Just two more days to go!
