Memorizing Your BibleSample

Today, we’re already at verse 3!
Start by reading Psalm 1:1-3 in your Bible.
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
Verse 3 says that if we deeply engage with God’s Word, we will “prosper.” Let’s be
clear—this doesn’t mean we’ll be rich or always healthy. It means we will succeed when we
align ourselves with His plans.
Joshua received a huge task from God, and the only way he could succeed was by
meditating on God’s Law “day and night.” For the Jews, this meant memorization!
Read Psalm 19:7-11.
The verse for today is:
Psalm 1:3 – “He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season, and whose leaf does not wither—whatever he does prospers.”
CHALLENGE OF THE DAY
And… today, we do exactly what we did the last few days:
● First, recite verses 1 and 2.
● Now, read verse 3 aloud 10 times while following along carefully.
● Then, recite this third verse 10 times without looking.
You’ll notice that after these three days, it’s becoming much easier!
Repeat everything throughout the day.
Tip:
Record the entire psalm on your phone and listen to it whenever you can! This way, not only
your eyes and hands but also your ears will be involved.
Keep the goal in mind: In just a few days, you will know this entire psalm by heart!
