Prayer

God, You are love. All pure love springs from You and displays Your likeness. Like the love of a devoted husband for his beloved wife, so is Your love, O Jesus, for Your church.

May Your unfailing, sacrificial love enfold me, cover me and warm me. Captivate my heart anew. May the flames of love burn bright within me, ignited by Your holy love for Your church, the Bride of Christ.

You have written me on the palms of Your hands. You have sealed me with Your Holy Spirit. Your love for me is complete, steady, all-consuming. Stir in my heart a devoted love response. For no one loves me more than You. In Your name, Amen.
