Praying Words of Wisdom From the BibleSample

The God Who Sees Me
"Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. (Psalm 39:23–24, NIV)
Prayer
Heavenly Father, how amazing You are! You aligned the planets one by one. You hung the stars in place and called them by name. With a mighty hand and outstretched arm You paint each sunrise with the artistry of heaven. Your vastness is beyond fathoming. Yet, You formed me in my mother’s womb, and You call me by name. You know me inside and out. You count every hair on my head!
You made me. You know me. You love me, more than anyone else ever could.
Incredibly, through Jesus, You gave me something even more. You called me to be born again. Not born of flesh and blood, but born of Your Holy Spirit.
Now we are sons and daughters of the Most High God. Not merely part of Your creation, but part of Your eternal family!
Make me brand new in Christ. Help me taste anew Your immeasurable love for me. Help me breathe in Your divine wisdom. Help me grasp onto Your steady hands wounded with mercy for me. Help me walk in Your footsteps of truth, exuding the fragrance of heaven and speaking the mercies of Your Word wherever You may lead.
Search through me from head to toe. Shine your beaming flashlight of truth into the dingy, dark corners of my being. Sweep away sin, and polish the jagged edges of my heart. Let me reflect the unending light of Christ. In His name, Amen.
