Praying Words of Wisdom From the BibleSample

God Is Our Just Judge
"For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil." (Ecclesiastes 12:13)
Prayer
Mighty God, like a small child before a Supreme Court Judge, even more so are we before You, the Ruler and Judge of all. You see all, and You know all. Your justice and righteousness are absolute and perfect, for You look upon the heart.
At the end of our days, we will give an account to You for the things we have done.
We thank You for the cross, O Jesus. The one place where justice, love, and forgiveness defeat evil.
Every sin of mankind was laid upon Your shoulders, thus upholding God’s righteousness and justice. You paid the penalty due for our sins in the courtroom of heaven. And now we are clothed in Your righteousness instead.
Justice paid. Then mercy given.
Give us a heart of humble appreciation. Help us keep Your commandments, for Your ways are right, just, and true. May we live to please You from a heart of overflowing gratitude. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
