Someone Else's WorldSample

"I and the Father are one..." John 10:30 ESV
Rather than relying on our experiences of Fatherhood, we should rely on the Truth of God's design. It's clear from the Scriptures that Jesus embodies the invisible God. Christ states that He is one with the Father and that when we have seen Him, we have seen the Father.
This means that when we struggle to embrace the Fatherhood of God, we should look to Jesus. He is the way to the Father. The Only Way.
In a 2025 analogy, Jesus is the "emoji" expression of God the Father. Think about it: so much can be conveyed through an emoji. Even the color of a heart or a particular smiley face can signify the intensity of the relationship and conversation. Christ is the Father fully expressed in a form we can relate to, comprehend, and walk alongside. Jesus signifies the intensity of the relationship and conversation the Father desires to have with us.
All the fruits of the spirit reflect Christ's life and the Father's heart.
When we're confused, broken, tired, and warped by our earthly senses of Fatherhood - we should go back to the drawing board—the mind of God. We look to Jesus, who rewrites our world.
THINK ABOUT IT:
1. What qualities in Christ should we see in a good earthly father?
2. What words/actions of Christ should rewrite our understanding of fatherhood?
PRAYER PROMPT:
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.

About this Plan

What if we traded our little worlds for the Eternal Kingdom, now and to come? Walk with us, line by line, through the Lord's Prayer as we begin to release our grip on how we think we should live and embrace how Jesus wants us to live.
