"...Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven..." Matthew 6:10 ESV

We've discussed the extraordinary Garden Kingdom our Heavenly Father designed for us—a state of living where we flourish in God's love and grace.

However, this Garden Kingdom is not just delivered to our door when we accept Christ. Of course, SALVATION comes from the grace of Christ alone. But to abundantly live in the grace Christ has offered us takes action on our part - working out of our faith. We do this OUT OF grace, not to get into grace.

It's like marriage. We can be married before God and faithful to one another, but we still lack the depth of intimacy in that relationship, which requires work.

Jesus says, "Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven." This is an intimate declaration to God that we want Him to lead. This simple sentence conveys the understanding that we are granting God permission to "ruin our lives" in the best way possible.

This means that instead of your little, fleeting, and failing kingdom, you want to fully embrace the Kingdom of God, even if it means He takes you to places you don't want to go and chooses things you don't want to choose. We accept His kingdom and His will because of His faithfulness and character. We know that when we put our love and trust in Him, He is faithful in completing the work He started.

He will exceed our wildest expectations. When we release the grip of our kingdoms and embrace God, He will give us all that Heaven has to offer.

1. What qualities of heaven do you desire? Peace? Joy? Comfort? Satisfaction?

• How can you begin partnering with God to allow His Kingdom to flourish in your life?

Father, I want everything you want for me. May my life be a reflection of Heaven.
