Brilliance – Made to Shine

When we say “Strong Girls have Brilliance,” we are referring to the freedom to shine. And that is God’s design for girls.

When most of you think of brilliance, you may think of how a diamond captures the light and sparkles or maybe a masterful performance on stage, in the classroom, or on the athletic field.

A diamond is an impressive picture of how our life should look to others. Diamonds are like the moon in that they don’t produce light by themselves, but when light enters a diamond, it bounces around inside the many facets to produce the beautiful sparkle that we love so much.

Strong Girls are designed to reflect and shine the light of Christ. When you get more of God’s goodness inside of you, and let that goodness come out of you, other people notice. That goodness shows up in your attitude, your words, your positive energy, and how you treat others. It shows up in everything you say and do. The brilliance others see in you points people to God and glorifies Him.

Life in Christ is not about perfection, it’s about direction. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. When you receive the free gift of eternal life, by grace through faith, you are set free and can live this new life!

Let’s talk about 3 key ways to live with the freedom to shine and reflect God’s glory.

1. Surrender Everything. God invites you to give Him control of your life and to trust that He loves you and has what’s best for you. This isn’t easy, but when you seek Him, listen to His voice, and follow in His steps, you can live with peace and confidence.
2. Turn Trials into Testimonies. Sometimes you shine the brightest by the way you handle hard times. God’s presence is often brightest when the circumstances are darkest. You will shine brightest when you are at your weakest, because God shows up at His strongest.
3. Make a Difference. Your light shines bright when you are unselfish and truly want to be a positive force in the world. This life is not about you; it’s about building God’s Kingdom.

Strong Girls shine! You live with grace and freedom, not weighed down by mistakes of the past or anxious about the future.

Everyone can have brilliance because everyone can be free. You are made to shine.
