Brains – Made to be Wise

When we say “Strong Girls have Brains,” we are referring to mindset and wisdom. And that is God’s design for girls.

When most of you think of “brains”, you immediately think of being smart. And while knowledge is important and part of brains, it’s a tiny part of what we mean for Strong Girls.

You already know that the Bible is the source of all truth and wisdom. Having brains means that you “think like Jesus” and depend on the Holy Spirit for wisdom.

When you pursue Jesus, two things happen – you set your mind and heart on things that matter most to God and then surrender to the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you. That means that you look to the Bible for all the answers and then pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit to apply it to your decisions.

Strong Girls create a positive and powerful mindset based on truth. You have brains that are continually being transformed by the renewing of your mind. You grow a mindset that helps you see clearly and do the right things.

Let’s talk about 3 key ways to use our brains to think like Jesus and forge a positive mindset.

1. Have a Clear Vision. Creating a clear and compelling picture of what you believe God truly wants for you in life helps inspire and motivate you to keep striving for important goals. Without vision, you lack that “true north” direction that keeps you living for Christ.
2. Stay Positive & Optimistic. There is a ton of negativity and pessimism in the world, but Strong Girls are positive and optimistic. You see life as a gift to be enjoyed and lived to the full. You also have tremendous faith that nothing is impossible with God. He can turn around even the worst situations.
3. Thinks Abundance, not Scarcity. Jesus came to give you the abundant life. The abundance mindset is a belief in the goodness and generosity of God. God has more than enough for everyone to enjoy. The abundance mindset makes you dream big and see unlimited opportunities.

Strong Girls have brains. You seek wisdom and apply it to every decision. And, you develop a mindset, a way of thinking, that leads to opportunity, overcoming, and a positive future.

Everyone can have brains because everyone can be wise. You are made to be wise.
