God can do great things through prayer. When God’s plans and purposes align with our prayers, the impossible is possible with God. It’s an incredible thing!

Jesus gives his closest followers an object lesson on prayer, which is our passage for today. It’s something they would never forget. God wants to produce fruit in the lives of his people and he uses people of faith and prayer to do it. Jesus is walking towards Jerusalem. It’s just days before his death. We pick up the story in Matthew chapter 21, verses 18-22.

What’s an example of answered prayer in your own life? Is there something that you sense God wants you to do, and you’ve been hesitant to trust him? Thank God that he can do the impossible. Ask God for eyes to see where he is at work and how he wants to use you.
