It’s easy to love the people that we like. But whom does God want us to love? Fasten your seat belts; today’s passage is an intense one. It would be so much easier to gloss over it and move on. It’s part of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, an important passage to study as we seek to love God and love our neighbors as ourselves. We’ll need God’s strength to do this, and the great thing is, he’ll give it to us.
