I persecuted this Way to the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women (Acts 22:4).
How prepared are you to share your personal testimony as a witness for Jesus?
Personal testimonies are captivating. People are intrigued to hear about the lives of others. You can take advantage of the natural curiosity within the unsaved heart to tell your story. Paul does it well; he also does it often, as recorded in the Book of Acts. Pay careful attention to the frequency with which he tells his story about personally encountering Jesus. Paul connects with his Jewish audience in Acts 22:1-3, informing them that he is a fellow Jew trained for ministry under Gamaliel. Once he hooks them, the experienced personal storyteller informs his captive audience that Jesus is alive and personally commissioned him: “For you will be His witness to all men of what you have seen and heard” (Acts 22:15).
Employment Point: Prepare and share your personal testimony.

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions helps readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word.
