Journal Exercise

When Luke wrote about God's mission through Jesus and his apostles, we can see from the tables that prayer and proclamation were bound together. Revise last week’s Bible readings and prayers. Reflect on how you have been involved in the gospel’s progress. Write a prayer which sets out your thoughts before God and go into his presence.

A Mission Statement

Let us glorify God by proclaiming our saviour the Lord Jesus Christ in prayerful dependance on the Holy Spirit, so that everyone will hear his call to repent, trust and serve Christ in love, and be established in the fellowship of his disciples while they await his return.
