Altar EgoSample
Boldness is behavior born out of belief. It’s a belief that God is who He says He is. Unfortunately, so many of us have bold intentions but follow them up with timid actions. A great example of someone in the Bible like this was Peter. He had bold intentions when he told Jesus that he would always be there for Him, never let Him down, and never deny Him. Yet, three different times he failed with timid actions even though he had bold intentions. The good news is that after Christ arose from the dead, suddenly Peter had a change in the depth of his beliefs. He really believed that Jesus was who He said He was and you see examples throughout the book of Acts of Peter’s boldness. Peter’s boldness was born out of his belief in knowing that Christ was the Son of God. The more we believe in Jesus, the bolder we will become. What beliefs about yourself do you need to change that are keeping you from being bold?

About this Plan
If you have ever felt insecure, inadequate, or insufficient, then this 35-day reading plan is for you. Instead of living with an outward-driven ego, this plan will help you gain an Altar Ego that is focused more inward. Each day, you will read scriptures and a short devotional that will enable you to begin transforming your ego by laying down your worldly self-image and replacing it with God’s view of you. You are not yet who you are supposed to be, but you can begin the process today of growing into who you are supposed to be in God’s eyes.
